USA Trains R22611 Canadian Pacific CP EMD SD70 MAC Diesel Loco #9166, G-Scale

Here is a USA Trains R22611 CN SD70 engine in excellent condition. Dual powered 6 wheel motor trucks. Alternating ditch lights at slow speeds. Detailed cab interior with lighted digital computer screen control panel. Highly detailed platform and steps. Length: 30 1/2" Height: 6". Track diameter: 8 foot minimum. The organization was a nonprofit and sponsored and constructed by a group of non-paid volunteers who operate the electric trains in an elaborate display around the National Christmas Tree just behind the White House. If you google National Christmas Tree Railroad, it just adds an incredibly backstory to this unique engine.

The locomotive has aftermarket lights which light up a bright blue and alternate from one light to the other in the front, just like a real locomotive. All lights work and shine a bright xenon or halogen blue.

Traction tires indicate significant use, however the motor runs smoothly and the wheels are very clean. It was not uncommon for the organization to replace entire frames, motor blocks, and contact pads, so this may be the case. The engine is in excellent condition with its gorgeous red CP paint scheme.

The front rails and side rails are located in the insert of the box. There are minor paint chips and scuffs on the locomotive including two larger ones on the back side above the rear railing and the underneath on the speaker housing, and a couple of small trim parts seem to missing including one on the roof.
