Collector's quality, fantastic condition. This is an Aristo-Craft G C-16 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive. Both the locomotive and tender feature plastic body construction, operating headlight, smoke, metal handrails, and metal wheels and axles.

This engine also has a wood load, perfect for narrow gauge setups. For fine scale modelers, this engine is in 1:24. This is the last generation of C16's aristocraft made before going out of business, the highest quality C16's originally made from Delton molds back in the 80's.

The engine has a revised gearbox and improved reliability throughout the drivetrain. Besides the metal valve gear, the belt drive is much quieter and the profile of the engine is back to where it was supposed to be (the same as the Delton version).

As to it's robustness, tractive effort, etc, this is the best C16 out there. This engine is brand new, never taken out of the box, and still sealed in styrofoam. Come visit G scale heaven. See hundreds of current and future listings.
