N scale brass Overland Models NS GP59 Operation life saver # 4641 & Freight Set

This is one of my pride and joys in my collection. It's my only n scale brass locomotive. It was given to me years ago by a friend along with a tank car.

Both were weathered by them. I ran it a lot but in the last few years it's been sitting so it's time for it to go to a good home. Last night I took it out to test it and noticed the rear truck wasn't working. After taking it apart I noticed the drive shaft ball joint was sliding on the shaft. This prevented the truck from working. I used a micro brush and a small drop of CA.

Letting it drive overnight I tested it again and the issue has been resolved. I also did a full maintenance check. I cleaned the wheels and added gear lube and ran the locomotive for a long time. Everything works as it should.

You get a mix of Atlas, minitrix, ahm and Bachmann cars. Only one car does have a case but everything will be packed accordingly.

Like all my listings it comes from a smoke free home. I only sell in the US and all sales are final.
