Marklin 3798 HO Scale BR96 0-8-8-0 Steam Locomotive NIB/ Digital

Up for sale is a. Marklin 3798 HO Scale BR 96 0-8-8-0 special edition Steam Locomotive with original box and instructions. Around 1902 The Bavarian State Railroad was in urgent need of a stronger Locomotive to handle the increased need for cargo transport on steep grades in Bavaria.

As an answer to this demand the Locomotive Gt2 x 4/4 with 1470 Horsepower's was build. It was the strongest Locomotive build in Europe at that time. This locomotive is made of a die-cast steam tank, limited edition in Royal Bavarian blue coating for digital and analog operation.

It features all metal construction, metal gears, realistic detail, lights, and metal wheels. The original box is included. The instruction manual is included. Please see my high-quality pictures for additional details. I tested it on my analog and digital trainset, and it did run smoothly including the light function.
