Lionel 6-18045 TMCC New York Central Commodore Vanderbilt 4-6-4 #777 EX+ c1996

This Lionel 6-18045 New York Central Commodore Vanderbilt 4-6-4 Steam O #777 is a stunning addition to any model train enthusiast's collection. With a beautiful diecast construction, this locomotive runs on a three-rail system and features a 4-6-4 wheel configuration. The attention to detail is evident in the O scale and gauge, making it a true representation of the real thing. This is the first of several Commodore Vanderbilt locomotives that Lionel produced beginning in 1996. This first locomotive was painted in a bright silver scheme that turned out to be incorrect when compared to the original New York Central locomotive.

Due to the color issue, many of these locomotives were sent back to Lionel. Features Light, Smoke, MagneTraction, TMCC (TrainMaster Command Control), and RailSounds. Almost Like New with boxes and paperwork- see photos. Locomotive measures 15 1/2 by 4 by 3 inches.

It's perfect for both display and operation on your model railroad. Has been Gently run- see photos for wheels and roller wear.

Please get a Lionel Authorized tune up- (or of course your own if you are a seasoned operator)before putting her to work. It has been in the box and stored for a while.
