LGB Disneyland Railroad Fred Gurley G Scale Locomotive Custom Built Retro Rails

This unique G Scale locomotive is a custom-built replica of the Disneyland Railroad Fred Gurley Steam Locomotive. The Fred Gurley is Disneyland USA's oldest locomotive and continues to operate in the park daily.

This model wears the beautiful "Yellow Ribbon" style graphics which have previously been unavailable on other G Scale versions of this locomotive. The locomotive is based on a highly reliable and well proven LGB German made Columbus Forney locomotive. The locomotive was new before customization and was fully disassembled for detailed painting, the addition of handcrafted parts, and specialized detailing. A professionally produced graphics package was created to replicate the Disneyland USA locomotive as closely as possible. The result is an exceptionally accurate and meticulously detailed model.

The locomotive features digital sound, operating lights in the front headlamp and inside the cab and smoke capability. The electronics on this model also allow for the addition of DCC controls if desired. (see photo of electronics board).

This is the first of this model that has been built by Retro Rails and it wears a unique serial number identifying its authenticity. The locomotive includes the original LGB box with additional graphics that reflect its customized configuration.
