DCC set to default #3. Front and rear working headlights. Very nice looking P42 and as most of you know Amtrak will be phasing out this great looking engine. When it first came out I fell in love with it right away.

I had seen nothing like it. The seek and aerodynamic lines are a work of art. Some say " it looks like its going fast while its standing still" I agree! Lots of fantastic detail's on this Athearn RTR and they are super reliable. This engine was used in my fleet for many years (when I ran passenger cars through the desert) but was mainly a display piece and has very low run time.

Runs like new because it has always been well maintained. Lubed and ready to be put on your layout. Pictures are taken on my personal home layout to show that im not a dealer (just another train fanatic like yourself) and I assure you that your getting a good product because I TEST THEM for you.
