Lasted in CNW paint until at least 2018. Modeler-installed GPS dome included for later-era operations. Built in July and August of 1994, this group of 40 units were the only original Dash 9-44CWs ordered by Union Pacific. Full DCC functions available when operated in DCC mode. Engine, horn, and bell sounds work in DC. All functions NMRA compatible in DCC mode. Program a multiple unit (MU) lashup with lead unit only horn, bell, and lights. Many functions can be altered via Configuration Value (CV) changes. CV chart included in the box. Constructed for US railroads from coast to coast, the units were also ordered by Canadian roads, and significant export orders went to Australia and Brazil.
