AMAZING 1949 AMERICAN FLYER #350 Royal Blue Engine/Tender 3/16th S Scale Vintage Train, Includes #350 Engine & Tender, #631 T&P Green Gondola, #642 Red SF Box Car, and #638 Red Caboose. Condition is Used, but see actual photos of this amazing set. I would say it visually looks in "Very Good" Condition, but see the actual photos of Engine/Tender/Set taken immediately before this listing went up. However, the locomotive lights up as shown in the first picture, and hums... But it will not move down the track.

These early 12-16VAC AF locomotives needed a power supply with a few amps, and I do not have one with more than 1 amp, so I cannot actually test it. It has been sitting on a shelf as long as I have had it; it might be that I can not provide enough amperage for it to run, or it might only needs a good cleaning out of the old solidified oil and re-lubricated to actually make it run; or it might be the reversing unit or even the motor. Manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut, this. AMERICAN FLYER #350 Royal Blue Engine.

3/16th scale S Gauge version, with wire handrails and serif lettering, was built only in 1948. It is a fairly accurate model of the streamlined Baltimore and Ohio Railroad locomotive that debuted in 1937 on the line's famed Royal Blue express passenger train operating between Washington D. This is a one-of -a -kind and still has that factory shine. Yes, there are a few scratches at the back of the engine cab top, but look for yourself...

Also included is the original train set instruction manual; it is mostly all there in its factory stapled form, but has some creases, torn pages, etc. I think the price is fair, but if you don't, make an offer and I will consider.
