1949 Trains Adams & Son Model Foundry O Scale 2 Rail C&o Diesel B Unit Engine #5

RARE LATE 1940s earl 50s VINTAGE TRAINS ADAMS & SON MODEL FOUNDRY O SCALE 2 RAIL C&O DIESEL B UNIT ENGINE lot #5. Measures12.25 long plus couplers. Rare to find heavy brass (over 5 pounds) & alloy metal diecast train locomotive. These were made initially in the late 1940s by Lindsay Adams & Son in Wichita, Kansas then Corsicana, Texas. The drivetrain may be by a different maker such as ALL-NATION.

They are very detailed precision scale model trains that are really heavy. They were expensive and well made in limited production runs.
