NJ Custom Brass HO Scale Pennsylvania Railroad L-5 Electric Locomotive Very Nice
NJ Custom Brass Pennsylvania Railroad L-5 Cab Electric Locomotive made in Japan by Kumata and imported in 1973. This model is in excellent condition and shows very little wear. Body has a few very small spots of tarnish. Tested and runs very well, model can run extremely slow and smooth.
Original box is in great condition and includes prototype information, picture of prototype, display plaque, and 2 GOW bulbs. Original foam was deteriorated and discarded, model will be well packed in new material. Lots of original foam has lost its memory or is deteriorating and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace or remove inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows as needed. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don't receive a box of "parts".
I pay special attention to my brass items, as many have been cherished for decades, were handmade, and deserve to remain a part of modeling history. Thanks for looking at Cherry Picked Trains! I use bubble wrap, plenty of packing material, and sturdy boxes. Loose cars will be wrapped in tissue paper, then bubble wrap.
